Mamita is from a very poor family. The child lives with her parents in a house made up of mud and roof covered with tiles. Diseases are rampant due to the unhygienic condition of the village. They have no land so they depend only on daily wage labour work. Both the parents of the child also work in the fields of the landlord and get very less money which is insufficient to meet the needs of the family, especially having adequate and nutritious food. The family members fall sick due to the lack of food. Consequently the family had been suffering their sustenance . So to provide proper education and food the child was admitted in the program.
