Santosh Kumar comes from a very poor family. He lives with his mother and siblings in a thatched hut that often collapses during the rainy seasons. His father works outside their state as a labourer and sends home money to support his family. As his income is meagre, Santosh’s mother works in the agricultural fields of the landlord to help supplement their income. In such circumstances, giving good education to their children is only a dream for the parents. To help the family and give the child a chance to have a bright future, Santosh Kumar was admitted into our programme.
