Kalpesh Kumar belongs to the vulnerable community of Bihar state. Her father is a daily wage labourer with meager income. This income is not sufficient to run the family and give proper education to his children. Out of compulsion, Kalpesh’s mother and brothers also work to supplement their income. They live in a house made of bamboo and straw that often collapses during the rainy season. This makes their life hard. In such poor economic condition, the parents are unable to give proper education and nutritious food to their children. To help the family and give a better life to Kalpesh, he was admitted into our programme.
