11 year old Amita lives in a remote village in Orissa. Poverty is rampant in this region and people struggle to have even one meal a day.

Many of them have just a single set of clothes that has been well worn with tears and darns. Amita’s mother does not come out the entire time her saree is washed and dried. Many a time, she wears her wet clothes to work. Such is the poverty in this village. Amita is now part of our program, due to which she is able to have nutritious food and go to school. There are many like Amita desperate for a helping hand. We are also working towards improving the income of Amita’s family. We request you to join with us and bring lasting change into communities as this.
